Wilbert Baan (30) is creative technologist at SOMEHOW branded utilities. Until recently he worked for the Dutch national newspaper de Volkskrant.
Master of Arts
In 2005 he graduated as Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts and Technology (Hons.) with an exegesis consisting of a thesis about social classifications and its implications on meaningful data storage and retrieval.
Personal
I'm living together with my girlfriend Linda, we have a son Benjamin. I'm a big fan of watersports: kite-surfing, surfing and diving.
Combined with this thesis was a project called Medialandschap, which creates a visual interface that focuses on different information axes to sort and give meaning to short, low context videos.
I was born in the beginning of the eighties (1980).
